We are delighted and honoured to have a number of creative and skilled artists in our congregation. There are pieces of artwork here which express something of their faith and commitment to Christ:
This painting was done by Isobel Ducille in 2016 as an expression of her faith at the time of her baptism.
This painting by Esther Slater likewise expresses her faith in the Lord God at the time of her baptism in 2022.
The Re-Communion', also done by Isobel (in 2020). She writes, "At the time, it expressed how I imagined Church to be when lockdown was finally over, but now I look back, it marked the start of a journey of discovering what Church and the body of Christ really means".
We used this drawing by Parminder Gill on our Christmas invitations. It is all drawn free hand and gives a sense of the wonder and the vulnerability of the birth of Christ.
The Good Shepherd and the Lion and the Lamb as drawn by Parminder Gill. He does these drawings as he listens to hymns and psalms, as an act of worship.
